Jessie Cave, best known for her role as Lavender Brown in the Harry Potter series, has surprised fans by announcing her new venture: an OnlyFans account. However, those expecting explicit content might want to look elsewhere.
In a candid Instagram video, the 37-year-old actress revealed that her page will cater specifically to hair enthusiasts, offering “high-quality hair sounds” and “deeply sensual content” – though she was quick to clarify that “sensual” does not mean sexual.
“I’m doing something dirty, something a little messed up. I like it,” Cave teased, explaining that her OnlyFans will be dedicated to the unique world of hair appreciation.
According to Variety, Cave has been actively promoting her new venture across multiple platforms, including her podcast Before We Break Up Again.
“I’m starting an OnlyFans account – but not a sexual one,” she stated. “It’s a fetish. And fetish doesn’t necessarily mean sexual.”
However, the term fetish is traditionally defined as a strong sexual fixation on a particular object or body part, and hair fetishism (also known as trichophilia) is commonly recognised as a sexual preference for hair. While some use the word fetish more broadly to describe niche interests, in psychological and linguistic terms, it is typically linked to sexuality.
The actress also revealed that the decision was partly motivated by financial reasons. “I need to renovate and pay off debts,” she admitted, embracing the unconventional nature of her new business.
