A suspicious ad for a so-called Ozzy Osbourne Final Tour Memorial Whiskey Bottle is currently making the rounds on Facebook — and all signs point to it being a scam.
The ad promotes the bottle through a website called categorye.com, and has already gathered over 14,000 likes and more than 1,700 shares. While many comments appear enthusiastic, a few users have raised red flags — and with good reason.
Let us be clear: this is a scam.
A quick investigation reveals that categorye.com has an extremely poor reputation. On Trustpilot, the site receives very low ratings, with multiple reviewers claiming they never received what they ordered — or that the products were of terrible quality. On Scamadviser, the site scores 1 out of 100, with the warning:
“categorye.com has a very low trust score which indicates that there is a strong likelihood the website is a scam. Be very careful when using this website!”
Additionally, the images used in the ad appear to be generated by artificial intelligence. While this may not be obvious to everyone, a trained eye can spot clear signs of AI generation. To be certain, the images were run through Hive Moderation, which confirmed with 99.99% certainty that the images are AI-generated.
As of now, there is no official information from Ozzy Osbourne or his management regarding any memorial whiskey product tied to a farewell tour.
In Summary:
- The website has extremely low credibility
- The product images are AI-generated
- There is no official connection to Ozzy Osbourne
- All available evidence suggests this is a scam operation
