Ozzy Osbourne has been struggling with his health over the past few years. He hasn’t played a full show since 2018, but he is set to hit the stage with the reunited original lineup of Black Sabbath for their Back to the Beginning charity concert later this year.
The legend addressed the matter on his SiriusXM radio show Ozzy Speaks:
“I’m not planning on doing a full set with Black Sabbath, but I am doing little bits and pieces with them. I’m doing what I can, where I feel comfortable.”
While he said he’ll do whatever he can to deliver his best performance, the 76-year-old previously revealed in 2020 that he had been diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease. His wife, Sharon, recently shared that Ozzy has been experiencing difficulties with walking due to the disease, though she assured fans that his voice is still strong.
“I am trying to get back on my feet,” Ozzy added. “When you get up in the morning, you just jump out of bed. I have to balance myself, but I’m not dead. I’m still actively doing things.”
He continued:
“I’ve made it to 2025. I can’t walk, but you know what I was thinking over the holidays? For all my complaining, I’m still alive. I may be moaning that I can’t walk, but I look down the road and see people who didn’t do half as much as me and didn’t make it.”
