The thrash metal band Acid Force comes from Slovakia and has previously released “Atrocity for the Lust” in 2017. The band is now back with their follow-up, “World Targets in Megadeaths”. With a title like that, one can guess where in the thrash metal landscape Acid Force resides. However, despite likely having listened to a good dose of Megadeth, the album is well within the crossover genre. It’s like a blend of Megadeth, Anthrax, Municipal Waste, and Nuclear Assault. Not bad at all. The band has a lot of great riffing, and the guitar work is generally of a high standard. However, the vocals are somewhat monotonous and not very exciting. But “World Targets in Megadeaths” sounds quite decent, and then some. Just check out songs like “Fast Friday” and “Rebirth of the Sun.”
