Detraktor is a German thrash metal band that started in 2016. Previously, the band has released an EP, a studio album, and a multitude of singles. Their new work is called “Full Body Stomp” and consists of heavier thrash that doesn’t move at a very fast pace. The riffs are far more progressive and technical than traditional thrash metal, although it doesn’t make much difference. Unfortunately, the riffs aren’t particularly good. The vocals of vocalist Boris “Sunday” Pavlover aren’t something I particularly like either, so “Full Body Stamp” doesn’t become something extraordinary. The trio is skilled on their instruments, but it doesn’t help much when I don’t find the music they play particularly interesting.
