This mini-CD have eight tracks, but since we’re talking about old-school Swedish death metal with a D-beat influence, these songs last just a little over twenty minutes in total. The band has been active since 2010, featuring members like Stefan Pettersson, known from the humorous black metal band Sportlov, and Daniel Ekeroth, who wrote the book “Swedish Death Metal” and is associated with bands like Tyrant, Iron Lamb, and Dellamorte. The sound is quite impressive and it takes me back to the early days of Grave and Dismember mixed with the crust genre. None of the eight songs stand out in particular, but they maintain a consistent level of quality throughout.
