Greek black metal legends Rotting Christ were involved in a serious car accident in Germany last night, the band revealed in a statement posted on their official Facebook page earlier today.
“To all our friends out there asking if we are OK after the serious car accident we had yesterday night in Germany, we can assure you that we are all safe and in one piece,” the band wrote, adding, “and stronger than ever, continuing with the ‘Unholy Trinity’ tour, giving our best every night on one of the greatest tours we’ve ever participated in!”
No further details about the accident have been released, but the band’s statement confirms that all members are unharmed and determined to carry on with their scheduled performances.
Rotting Christ are currently on the ‘Unholy Trinity’ tour, sharing the stage with fellow extreme metal acts Satyricon and Behemoth.
They closed their statement with a message of resilience to fans:
“See you on the road and remember… what doesn’t kill us makes us stronger!”
