Fans of Iron Maiden now have a rare opportunity to own a piece of heavy metal history. The legendary Cart & Horses pub in London — famously known as the birthplace of Iron Maiden — is auctioning off its original neon signs ahead of a planned replacement next week.
The auction includes two Cart & Horses signs, one Iron Maiden sign, and a Flying V guitar-shaped neon — four unique chances to take home a glowing relic from the heart of British metal history.
All signs are fully functional, but due to their fragile nature, they are available for collection only — no shipping will be provided. Bids can be placed directly underneath the photo of each item, on collector Mike Chudleigh Facebook-page.
In true Maiden spirit, 100% of the proceeds will be donated to the MS charity that cared for former Iron Maiden drummer Clive Burr, who passed away in 2013 after a long battle with multiple sclerosis.
This is your chance to light up your wall with some genuine heavy metal history.
