Swedish band Carry The Torch is out with their second album. The band plays a slightly melodic form of death metal. “Delusion” sounds professional, and the band is definitely skilled with their instruments. Especially the guitarists do a great job, and there are many excellent guitar parts here that elevate the album several notches. Despite that, the songs aren’t quite at the top, and “Delusion” probably won’t be an album that sticks in my memory. But it sounds good and is worth checking out if you like Swedish death metal.
