Dead Head hails from the Netherlands and was founded all the way back in 1989. Their debut album was released in 1991, and to date, the band has put out seven records. They play aggressive thrash metal with a hint of death metal at the edges. The sound is undeniably powerful, and the band has some killer riffs to offer.
Slave Driver delivers tight thrash metal with plenty of punch. That being said, none of the songs truly stand out or leave a lasting impression. So, while Dead Head has crafted a solid album, it lacks that extra spark to truly elevate it. However, I do hear a lot of potential here, I hope their next one will be even better.
