Asgeir Mickelson, known from bands such as Testament, Borknagar, Ihsahn, Sarke, Spiral Architect, and others, has been announced as the new drummer for the Norwegian black metal band Mork.
Mickelson already plays alongside Mork’s main man, Thomas Eriksen, in Udåd.
Mickelson: “After a five-year break, I had just picked up the sticks again to practice for Thomas’ side project, Udåd, when he called and said that Mork needed a new drummer. I know it’s an excellent band to play with, so I accepted. I really like how Mork combines old black metal with the new, and the people are great and professional.
