Rosslyn is a Spanish heavy metal band with melodies that I associate with Running Wild, along with some elements of power metal. The band has released one full-length album before, “Soul in Sanctuary” in 2028. It seems like the band is trying to create what’s often referred to as epic metal. There’s nothing wrong with that concept. However, when it’s done with a thin production, mediocre melodies, and off-key vocals – this album becomes quite a challenge to listen to. It’s actually so bad that I struggle to find anything positive to write about it. Even the cover artwork is ridiculous bad. This could be done much better in every possible way. So, it’s best to steer clear – at least that’s what I’m going to do.
