The Norwegian film “I onde dager” (known internationally as The Trip), directed by Tommy Wirkola from Alta, is getting an American remake.
XYZ is financing and producing the project alongside 87North’s Kelly McCormick, Lee Kim, and Guy Danella.
Director Jorma Taccone and Tommy Wirkola serve as executive producers, with Karen Gillan as a co-producer. Gillan is widely recognized for her role as Nebula in the Guardians of the Galaxy films.
Jason Segel, Timothy Olyphant, and Juliette Lewis will play key roles in the American version, titled The Trip.
